Professor Zhao

Professor Haibo Zhao is born in Ningxiang County, Hunan Province in 1977. He is a professor and doctoral tutor in State Key Laboratory of Coal Combustion, School of Energy and Power Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He has ever won research fellow of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the new century excellent talents in University by Ministry of Education in 2009, preferably funded project by Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation in 2007, nomination awards for national excellent doctoral dissertation in 2009, First prize in Natural Science Award by Ministry of Education in 2008. He received bachelor degree, master degree, doctor degree at Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1999, 2002, 2007 respectively and then finished his post-doctoral research at University of Duisburg-Essen in April 2009. He was exceptionally appointed as associate professor (Master tutor) and full Professor (Doctoral tutor) of Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2006 and 2009 respectively. And he is also the editor of “Energy Science and Technology”, “Modeling and Simulation” and “Clean Coal and Energy”. His research filed covers the control and utilization of particles and CO2 from combustion. He published more than 100 academic papers, of which over 40 articles can be indexed by SCI and over 90 articles can be indexed by EI/ISTP. Other achievements include 9 Chinese invention patents (4 authorized and 6 in application), and one Chinese monographs. He has ever been invited to have invitation presentations on academic conferences many times.
